Starting the third Sunday of every July, AAZK chapters around the country celebrate and promote the work of their animal care professionals – the keepers.
This year, AAZK National is continuing the #ImAKeeper campaign to highlight the diversity of it’s members, but is also introducing #KeepersCare – a movement aimed at sharing keeper contributions to conservation both inside and outside of their facilities.
KC AAZK will be hosting various events throughout the week to celebrate keepers in many areas of animal care--zoos, aquariums, wildlife rehabilitation, and more! Stay tuned for details!
